Waiting

Betsy waiting for Chris and Al to pick us up. It was pouring with rain and she was sheltering in a church doorway.

Someone opened the door while I was taking pictures and I saw that inside the church they had a flat-screen TV with the words of the hymns on it. Church has changed since I was last there (Harvest Festival 1979).

I seem to have spent most of my time with Betsy this weekend. Academy yesterday, and today we went shopping to spend her birthday vouchers. She got a pile of books in the Smiths 3for2 offers and she was very pleased.

Chris and Al were swimming and picked us up afterwards. Later we went to my parents in law. I had a good catch up with my sister in law Catherine which was very nice. Was also good to have a nice moan with her husband Geoff about our terrible sinus pain which we believe no one else in the family fully appreciates! We feel we don't get enough sympathy!

I have ordered a humidifier which I hope will help. I am worried that sleeping with a humidifier in the room will make me feel like a nutcase.
