Forced to "eat crow"

I refused to go to this pub for lunch last week as I didn't like the look of the place from outside.
Anyway some friends had been so this week I reluctantly agreed to go in and try Sunday lunch.
Now I've decided I don't like the look of the place inside either.
Where is the "Hotel Inspector" when you need her? I think the wallpaper is from the "Diary of an Edwardian Lady" range from about 20 years ago and it has certainly seen better days!
However, this is where "eat crow" comes in. It is an expression which means to "eat one's words". The home made cheese and onion pie was delicious........ and not a crow in sight!
