Storm's-a-coming

One thing I'm finding really good about using the bike to get out and about with the camera is that it opens up lots of new viewpoints on stuff I've blipped before (see above). It is distracting though and I'm never going to win any time trials if I keep stopping every few hundred yards to take a photo (6.9mph average over 14 miles; though I'm claiming at least 5 of those through proper thick, smelly, wet mud).

Less good is being stuck out in the middle of nowhere, after setting out in shorts because it was nice and sunny, and watching the clouds empty a pile of snow on the hills a couple of miles to the north of you (see above).

Thankfully it came to nothing more than a slightly chilly flurry as it headed on along the Hillfoots.

Back to work tomorrow and a week of scrutiny under Her Majesty's Inspectors of Education. It'll be a doddle. Just like crucifixion.* All be done and dusted by Friday.

Roll on Friday.

*Been watching 'Life of Brian'. Again.
