Knife

The title of this entry has nothing at all to do with the content, but I did not have an entry starting with a K so I decided to fix that. And, maybe slightly frighteningly, knife was the first K word to pop into my head.

Today I had my first long presentation for Senior Sem. I talked alllll about cotton. Again. It was fantastic. I have no idea how long the presentation was, but I know it was less than 23 minutes because the professor's alarm never went off. No idea how close it was to the 20 minute mark we were shooting for though. Plus all my classmates asked like a million questions when I was done presenting and I don't know if that's good or bad. Guess we'll find out.

There are all these sad trees along Rt 1 that I see as I drive to and from school. I think the maintenance guys just went along and hacked off any branches that were within a foot of the power lines. This is a tree that now makes a fun Y shape around the power lines. There are some that are just sad half-trees because the other half of their branches have just been chopped off. Sad trees.
