A shadow of my former self

It's only in recent years that I have started trying to take photographs rather than snapshots of people and events and my confidence is not quite up there yet.

I noticed a shadow and decided to see what happened if I photographed it (me) from different angles and liked the results but I confess it took a great deal of courage to put this up here.

Why I was so scared to I'm not entirely sure, I guess it has more to do with my internal image of myself than anything else. Vanity perhaps, what if I offend or repulse?!
