Chinese candies

In my job I manage a small team of volunteers and one of them comes from southern China. She is so nice and yes, sweet, and sometimes brings candy from her country for us. These Chinese candies she says all the children in China grow up with. A bit like the Bazooka gums of my North American childhood. Chinese sweets btw are much less sweet than our own, softer, as if made with mild honey rather than sugar. I put them on my mouse pad at work, because the colours looked good together.
