Montreal is a hotbed of graffiti artists and taggers. Any flat surface is fair game, from brick walls, to garage doors, to windows of abandonned businesses. This door must have been tagged many times due to its location on a main street. So the owners put up a graffiti art piece which though it does not prevent all taggers, at least makes the tags less noticeable. I love this upbeat, jazzy kind of art. There is a special energy and a great variety of wall murals and graffiti art all over the city. I showed some in the past (The lady on the wall), and you will see some more in the future.
