Ferry crossing - less said the better!
The weather closed much of the transport down yesterday including flights and the ferries that cross Cook's Strait. The Interislander is a great trip on a sunny, low wind day. it is NOT so good when it is stormy! Quite good LARGE.
Here's what the INNER harbour looked like as we queued to get our car on board!
The sea was NOT flat as it looks in this photo. See my folio for some nice tug shots.
Suffice to say it was NOT the best crossing I have ever experienced! We both managed to hold it together so to speak however. Dave then drove us the 5 hours home.
