Jarvisness

By jarvisness

Castro's, Hong Kong

The march of time is the enemy of the Jarvis. Ageing, closing time in bars, etc - such things are distasteful. Time is money, as they say, and money buys beer, so it follows that time is beer and beer is time (but not that beer is the enemy of the Jarvis, that is patently absurd). Perhaps when the old inkeeps in olde England ask for "time, please" it is a cry from their very soul. Time, like beer, is a valuable thing, and it must be used wisely. A little prior planning and local knowledge can assist in endeavours such as using 4 hours 45 minutes between flights in Hong Kong to nip into Kowloon to have a drink at Castro's rather than slaughter time mercilessly in a bloody airport.
