Another Era

Tonight we held a Camp Out and Potjie competition at our school. This was one of the table settings and it expresses the effort and enthusiasm that our teachers and parents put into our school.

The potjies are cooked over open fires and require several hours to get the meat tender. There were chicken, lamb, boerewors, beef and fish potjies. I tasted oxtail, thai and curry. We even had an ice-cream potjie!

We had a wonderful evening of fun, delicious food and high spirits.
