It's grim down South

After not enough sleep it was back into full on Benn excitement. We went off to the cash and carry which is such great fun (at least the first time you go it it), though I was slightly overwhelmed by the selection and size of the sweets on offer... It was great to get a feel what is available, what with the wedding coming up an' all.

After an aborted attempt to have a Sunday roast we (the Mrs and I) we left in the car with Liam and Susie (who delighted in coming with us instead of their parents all weekend, love it!) and no clue how to get back to the house. Don't worry Liam knows the way. Which after a few wrong turns and then employing the use of "the force" we got back where we needed to be for a McDonald's lunch.

It is never long enough when we visit, which has to be a good sign I think, the journey back was ok until the A14 was closed and we got stuck in traffic (in the rain). Fortunately I remained calm, honest...

Back home we called Colombia and spoke to Manolo, Alcira, Nono and Saul which was lovely and very positive :-D

Note: This photo is of the kids, which we have in the living room. I had criminally failed to take any charged batteries OR battery chargers with me. Which meant I had no photo taking power after the football match on Saturday morning! I still can't believe I did it... Grrrrr
