Remember when

I wasn't laying on the sand alone. I had you right next to me just how it was supposed to be. We stared into each others eyes and saw what no one else saw. We promised to never let go and our grip was pretty tight for a long time. I wrote my heart out on lines and gave it to you today. You finally have the chance to understand went wrong. There is nothing that doesn't make me believe that you don't get it but I just don't think you fully grasped it. I miss you so much but I don't absolutely need you. I realize you won't be laying here for a long time but I know that one day there will be someone laying beside me that I actually love. I just am in every way hopeful it is going to be you!

When I turn to this direction I still see you and your beautiful green eyes staring right back at me.
