Devonshire Place

True to our word Leila and I met up today for some further photography chat. I can't believe it has taken us so long to get our acts together. We have such a great time together. We both seem to be standing at the same crossroads. We know what we love to do but our lack of confidence really holds both of us back.

Leila has carved a niche for herself as the North London event photographer specialising in Indian weddings and celebrations but she would really like to pursue more of a fine art path.

We are planning on taking a few lectures together and maybe a seminar or two.

I am loving having a new model to experiment with. When I know I will be shooting someone regularly I feel a bit less face focused. Today We practised shooting wide angle portraits and focused on backgrounds. I love this sculpture just on the corner of Devonshire Place and Marylebone Rd. I might even be starting a bit of series.

It's my big Sister's birthday today. It's a big one too. Happy birthday Sis! I miss you terribly. x
