I had to go to the Post Office today so I took a lunchtime stroll up the road to visit the branch in the India Buildings.

This office block with a central, vaulted, shopping arcade was designed by Herbert Rowse and built between 1924 and 1932 for the Blue Funnel shipping line.

Not a bad place in which to buy stamps.
