You always know (well I always seem to know) what people mean when they say 'We need to try to find some creative ways of doing X as we cannot hire someone to do this job' is. It roughly translates to 'We want to find someone else to do it, creatively?'

Well all bar the last word. I might try to apply this at home.

'Listen, I think you should think of creative methods of changing your own nappy/getting to school/buying food to eat'

I wonder what else I could suggest?
