Loch Fyne
We had hoped this would be our last trip to Renfrew to clear out the house, but its now looking like another trip will be necessary. Buyer and seller have agreed the arrangements, however lawyers on both sides are as slow as treacle in making the deal happen. For the money they are paid you would think they could get the finger out and do a few checks, gets the necessary paperwork in order and make it happen. Sorry, end of rant!
Anyway, all the travelling to a fro gives us the chance to take in the wonderful Argyll scenery. In the nine years we have been travelling up and down the A83 regularly, we have got to know the best viewpoints. Its the same points we nearly always comment on for whatever reason. Today's blip is one of them. Before you even reach Inveraray you get your first glimpse of the Arrocahr Alps and the hills that surround the Rest and Be Thankful. Glen Kinglas, on the left in the blip, is an excellent example of a V shaped valley formed by glacial erosion. It always catches my attention as we drive north of Furnace, particularly when the sun is shining on the slopes, as it was today. While in the past I would have simply have admired it and maybe commented on it beauty, now as a blipper, I feel the need to stop and capture the moment.
More often than not, Mrs B is quite happy to stop and get an opportunity to take in the scenery. Well, that is unless she is hoping to get to the shops in Glasgow, in which case, like today, I get a look that says "oh no, we are not stopping for yet another blip"!
