Switched On!!

The other day, I was down at the harbour getting a shot of the rail bridge in the fog, when a couple of neighbours passed by - after chatting with them one of them said that the lights were due to be switched back on (they had been off for ages) and sure enough on they came at the weekend.

It really is a fabulous sight to see the Rail Bridge all lit up at night.

This image is taken from the other side of the water at North Queensferry and the main reason I wanted to capture it was just to show the great feat of engineering that went into the design and build of such a fabulous structure.

If you can, take a trip down to North or South Queensferry to see it at night...You won't be dissapointed........unless they switch the lights back off!!
