If you look closely enough....
...you can see the forest.
We decided to go for a walk this afternoon. This is a luxury we have now that the children have left home - the ability to do what we want when we feel like it.
Having arrived at Salcey Forest we engaged in the important task of scoffing sausage sandwiches in the caff.
Sitting on the adjacent table was a man and 5 (yes five) young children. He seemed to be solely in charge - and doing a pretty good job too!
When one of them wanted to go to the loo, he patiently put her wellies and coat on and trudged over to the facilities. On his return, he took off the coat and wellies and just as he sat down, another of them announced that they also wanted to go to the loo. So he patiently put on the wellies....
We left him to his untouched sausage sandwich (coincidentally), remembering the logistical nightmare of handling our four... and feeling pretty pleased that we have already served our sentence and are out for good behaviour.
So we went blipping. All I could find was trees.
However there was a woodland tree-top walk. And if you continued along
this you came to the top. That's where I took this photo.
