Dig for Victory!

Is there anything so satisfying as growing your own veg? I suppose there, is but I don't think so.

We spent the afternoon helping get the new allotment dug over. With four of us digging and Blipmeister Joe supervising.

Allotments are uniquely British - a plot of land, in town, rented from the local authority where you can grow your own produce. There are around 250.000 of them in the UK with a huge waiting list.

So it's digging, raking, planting growing and eating. Roll on the Spring.

....and this sign is at the bottom end - although I didn't see any sick people!
