A different view of the whale jawbones at the end of Jawbone Walk, gifted by Zetland knitters at the Exhibition in the Meadows in the late 19th century. there is currently an appeal to restore and save them.

It was a beautiful morning and decisions were made. No internet all afternoon which was very disruptive but peace was made with F.

After L arrived we talked, had a drink, inside, at the Peartree and a very pleasant evening with R and K.

I looked up again at the end of the evening. R had heard it would be possible to see the Northern Lights last night. Unfortunately no-one switched them on!
