a good day for admiring rennie mackintosh's sense of design and scale. the art school looked stunning against a blue sky. this isnt it. and is probably just a pale imitation but it twinkled in the sun.

ram raided primark for clothes to wear in the warm (1 week and counting..) and bought my book for the plane. how exciting. then bought several books and tapes for the kids to assuage my guilt. went home, ate, read and went to bed for a wee while.

then bought more mummy credits with outrageously sugary friday sweets. my kiddy sugar radar seems to be malfunctioning and i fear my dentist will be rapping my knuckles in the near future.

went to the flicks. in a toss up of 'last king of scotland' vs 'dreamgirls' the latter won despite the fact that we didn't know it was a musical - the penny dropped half way through when we realised that the most minor sign of emotion was an excuse for a song...
