Minature Daffodil
Couldn't resist taking this despite being laid low with a virus.
I caught this minature daffodil first thing while there was still a little frost covering on the tops.
These daffs are only 3-4" high and are not easy to isolate one while still giving it a context. Just picking one out alone makes it look just that - alone. This is one of probably a hundred in just a small patch in the middle of my front garden. A real treat at this time of year.
What was really amazing was that one reviewing the few images I took that these little flowers were reacting very quickly to the sun. One each frame just a few seconds apart you can see them lifting their head up towards the sun.
Probably back to work tomorrow :(
