Cholera Monument in Sheffield
Erected in 1834 in memory of the victims of Sheffield's last major cholera outbreak in 1832. There were in excess of 400 victims and most of them are buried in the surrounding park and gardens.
It's a beautiful spot, with an adjoining wood, and virtually in the city centre not far from the rail stations.
There are amazing views west across the city. I love it here.
