HAREING OFF
I was in need of a bit of fresh air today as it was such beautiful weather, so I drove up the lanes for a few miles and then had a wander. I was just about to take a photo of a stone bridge over a beck when there was a rustle from behind me. I turned round to see this Hare hurtling up the bank. He could not have been more than six feet away when he started off, but by the time I had zoomed in and focused he was away up the hill.
I did get some nice shots of the bare trees against blue sky, wispy clouds, green fields, and frost in the shadows of the stone walls, but I may never be so close to a Hare again so this is my blip. And given another beautiful morning like today, the trees and walls will be there to blip in the future.
