Meet the Field Vole

The wildlife outside Z's office in the outskirts of Uppsala is very active and noticeable this time of the year. Today, this Field Vole did a great show, easily watched from the huge stairway windows facing towards the forest margin on the back of the office building.

Later on, this shoot was "felled" like timber and transported to the nearby subterranean vole nest.
