Art

Decided to have a go at the 2012 blip challenge (forums search for 2012 Challenge to get a list of subjects for each week), inspired by waipushrink. This week it's Art, which could be almost anything depending on the interpretation. This is a piece of work by a student in the School for the Arts, so it must count. Not sure what this represents as there was no write up with it. Looks like bicycle seats to me put together in a rather appealing format.

I quite like the idea of a list, it takes you to places you may not otherwise have visited.

Tonight's session on the photography course got us to practice manual bracketing - which is the basis for HDR (apparently), manual focus - well manual everything really! Think this may have solved a problem I'e been experiencing when trying to take a close shot in low light, which seems to confuse the autofocus mechanism and send it into a spin. Looking forward to trying it :)
