Colour Burst.
Oh hello, February, where have you been hiding?
Stayed late at work tonight, and boy am I glad I did! I left around 7.30pm and by that point it had really started to rain. It was dark, cold, wet and windy, and I was hurrying home as fast as I could, huddled under my umbrella. Suddenly I could smell a whole symphony of flowers and when I looked up I realised I was walking past a refrigerated lorry that was delivering flowers to the florist. It was such a contrast: a bright lorry packed with every kind of flower you can imagine (more than I could name) in a spectrum of brilliant colours. I stopped in my tracks, and my umbrella promptly folded inside out. There was a man with a clipboard inside, and I asked him if I could hop in and take a photo. I'd taken two I really liked but I think this was the better... The other had nicer flowers but this was a better composition.
An experience that properly made my day; I think that man might have had the best job in the world. He asked me my name and where I was from, and was super-friendly; unfortunately I was so absorbed in taking photos I answered without asking anything in return. Big thanks to mystery flower man.
