Not always a Rosetta Stone
Sometimes the Welsh on road signs says exactly the same as the English, and sometimes not. For a learner like me, with a little knowledge - which is, of course, a dangerous thing - it can be fun to spot the differences.
You may think that 'Cadwch yn glir ger ysgolion' means 'Obey school keep clear', but you would be misled. 'Keep clear near schools' is my best guess at a translation. Why the Welsh and English are different, and which word means what, is left as a puzzle for the reader.
