Liverpool's Matthew Street Festival was a riot of noise, colour and humanity all having fun in the sun.
This free event attracts locals and visitors from all over the world.
Four year olds aren't impressed by tribute bands but they do like riding on the caterpillar train. My nephew who is visiting from Mallorca is a very happy man.
