Kestral on top of a Christmas Tree...

Four of us went fishing today, but I only watched as I didn't think I could hold a pole all day with my hand.
As we were going down to the pool we passed row after row of Christmas Trees and perched on top of one was this Kestral, he had just finished a meal and was resting up. I only had my 200mm lens with me so could not get too close, but this came out pretty good.

Anyway, I had a little dabble with Ray's pole and managed 8 or nine fish in less than an hour, the largest was around 9lbs, to the consternation of ray who had battled all day for a few small fish and was broken around 3 thimes.
