Travel Tweet Up at the Apex Hotel, Waterloo Place

The Twittering Blogging travel folks met this evening at the Apex Hotel in Waterloo Place, Edinburgh where we received wonderful hospitality and there was plenty of friendly chat going on. This pic is from just outside the Apex Hotel, and you can see Princes Street beyond - so a really central location.

It was organised by @BudgetTraveller - thanks, Kash, and to all the other organisers of #EdinTravTweetup - rather a long tag, but a great evening.

Good chance to meet up with some of the other ScotlandHour participants, including Dougie Baird, Aileen Lamb, and Lesley Judge as well as lots of friends old and new. This particular tweet-up is one worth going to if you blog about travel, or have an interest in travel.

The good news (discovered in my goodie bag from Apex Hotels) is that there is a spa in the hotel, which I was able to recommend as an option to guests who are coming to stay at Craigwell Cottage soon. Neighbourly - the Calton Hill folks.
