I stayed awake too late reading Paul Theroux's Ghost Train to the Eastern Star last night, and as a result, slept late today -- again. It's getting to be a habit. The early part of the book, where was traveling through the 'stans, was rather depressing. I went to Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan on a business trip, just after the end of the Soviet Union. It was the worst place I ever visited.

I spent too much time sorting out problems on the internet in the morning, and did a bit of work in the man cave after lunch -- nothing very exciting.

Must get to bed earlier tonight.
