"Because these slides are too big for you. Especially this one."

"Because they're for the big kids, like I said. Right, no higher than that."
"Why?"
"Aaargh! Because I blimmin' well say so!"

Good to see the knock on the head hasn't made George lose his nerve, or his sceptical outlook.

"Festival of Rugby" today for Matt and Andy: Calcutta Cup on display, a fun training session and a staved thumb for Matt. Swimming later in the afternoon, then a roast lamb dinner. Sun shone most of the time, and now I can feel my face glowing pinkly.

You'd almost think it was summer.
