Paul Smith ?

What with all the excitement (not) of Ofsted last week I totally forgot about my series 'All things Nottingham'.

So it returns today with Paul Smith - my absolute favourite designer.

I could bore you all to tears with facts about him - like I do my year 10 and 11's on a weekly basis.

Let's just say he was born in Nottingham, went to school in Nottingham and apart from Brian Clough is probably our most famous ambassador. I love the fact his designs are quirky, he uses local factories and mills where he can and his original shop in Byard lane is still there ( bored yet ?)
