Her birthday.

I know this lady from work who lost her little girl due to cancer. I've never had anything that could relate to something like that. To watch someone you love fight to their death. It's so scary that you never know who in your life you could lose. Death isn't scary when it just wakes you up it's scary when you have to watch someone fight it everyday especially at such a young age!

Her mom makes cupcakes on what would have been her birthday every year. On the 22nd of every month she bakes tons of cupcakes and brings them to the cancer patients at different hospitals. 22nd was the day she died.

Maybe she hasn't gotten over the death and is still fighting the pain it brings her but at least she channels her hurt in a beautiful way.

There are amazing people everywhere and when you find them you should appreciate their every second in your life because you never know when they will leave you.
