Hero Murree

I've had a bit of a flat day today.......but I cheered up considerably when Samiam introduced me to her new kitten, Percy, via Skype :-)

She also sent me the url for a new Katy Perry song which I have adopted as my new anthem!!

At lifeboat training tonight, we played with our new lifejackets, modelled here very snazzily by Murree. They are a totally different style to the old ones and we have to learn how to pack them and then use them in the water. The packing went well, as you can see, but in the water, I had a bit of a nightmare and couldn't find the toggle to inflate it!! It managed to hide itself very effectively and I decided to have another go next week!

Just now, I'm finishing off a rather delicious poached egg on english muffin before I retire early for bed - I have to be up at 4am tomorrow for a day trip to Cardiff.........
