Inspired by Kendal's old buildings

Stand outside Kendal library and look up across the road. These two grand old Westmorland chimneys belong to a 16th century town house. That makes them over 400 years old. Wow!.... But wait a minute. The house was modernised in 1810, so these chimneys are really 'only' two hundred years old. Still pretty impressive, I think!
