From the sublime to the ridiculous
I was out wandering today, mainly working on some black and white shots of the Ross band stand when the sun really poked its head out late afternoon in between the showers.
I walked all round the band stand when I realised what the view from the wee bridge behind it showed. Above we have the sublime National Gallery of Scotland which is always good for a random wander (art critic I am not), whereas below is possibly the smallest entrance to a capital city's main station ever seen. Perhaps that is why Scotland has such a poor excuse of a rail network.
I liked my band stand pics and will be returning once I have a decent tripod as there is definitely something interesting there.
