Elephant Hawk Moth

Back in August Jack & Adam found a huge caterpillar in their Granddad Bob's front garden, so they picked it up, brought it home and put it their butterfly house along with soil and leaves. It wasn't long before it changed into a cocoon so we kept it safe & warm throughout the winter. Today the moth emerged from it's cocoon, here it is drying it's wings. We are going to get in touch with our local Butterfly World and ask if they would like to look after it as it's far too cold to let it outside here.
