My new kettle.

I've enjoyed playing with this today. It's much better in the dark when it's all lit up with the blue light and bubbling away. Might do that another time.

I've been totally worn out today. Really not up to much and could easily have fallen asleep if I'd stayed still long enough.

A friend of mine phoned me today wanting to come round to see me as it's my birthday on the 9th. I read her email earlier and thought she had sent it today and so also thought it was tomorrow that she wanted to come round but she phoned to ask if she could come round as her email had asked.

So I agreed and then spent several minutes running round trying to tidy up. I enjoyed catching up with her but she noticed my breathing was bad. I should have told her that I'd been rushing round but didn't.

I'm going round to my recovering friend tomorrow and I'm sure it's the day our pop man visits. I won't be getting very much from him tomorrow as I think I've been going a bit mad lately getting things I don't really need or too much considering there is just mum and I to eat whatever I get.

I'm going to go for a lie down and a latte now as I've put mum to bed so I'm sort of off duty now. :)
