Caspian Tern having lunch

Had to stick this 2nd one up today. When down to Amwaj for a stroll on the beach and this tern flew in with this long fish in it's mouth which is promptly turned around and shoved down his stomach! Lucky to have caught him in the act.

Been having wonderfully rich skies at dawn the last few days, the skies are blue and not white which makes a change. Was wondering how I can change my usual dawn/sunrise shot when all of a sudden a flock of cormorants flew into the shot! There are breeding colonies of the Socitra Cormorant on Hawar Island (a 45 min boat trip) up to 30 000 apparently and looking at theis birders pics this is an amazing site to see - the black cormorants and the white chicks! Need to get out there to see. See here for pics
