All Weather Light Tower

The all weather light tower in North Queensferry. Once a guide for ferries crossing the Forth. Now a forgotten curiosity on a scarcely used slipway.

It sits in the loom of the Forth Bridge which stole half it's traffic - a subject I could shoot every day but I have managed to resist since the 1st July, nearly 8 weeks of cold turkey. So I have allowed it to sneak into this shot. The Forth Road bridge stole the rest of it's traffic of course.

It may be at the end of it's working life, comfortably enjoying the curious gaze of passers by, but I am at the start of my working week. Onwards and upwards!

P.S. I had a very late blip yesterday and I back blipped Saturday too...
