Deep Thought

A rare self-portrait. I'm trying to work out the basics of off-camera portrait photography with flash, using myself as a guinea-pig. So, I've got the camera tethered to my laptop (that's what I'm looking down at) via a long USB cable. The camera set up to wirelessly trigger the flashgun, which I'd set up to bounce off the walls (since I had to send back the broken lighting umbrella I'd bought and I'm still awaiting the replacement). I've got a long way to go in learning how to do this stuff, but I'm excited by the prospect. (If only i didn't have to work as well :) )
