An unusual road sign

This road sign haS recently been put out again by a kind local man ready for the manic breeding season of the frogs. The lake they are trying to reach is on the other side of the road. They literally swarm across the road and I can remember, many years ago, my husband and I driving down this country lane at midnight, stopping to help the frogs over to the verge on the other side. We hope too many don't get run over.
