Red Weevil Danger

Yes, I do know this isn't a red weevil.

They are becoming a problem though.

It seems whatever the palm trees were treated with (in an extremely liberal spraying) when they were pruned yesterday kills more than just weevils.

This little fella didn't survive.

Now that I've read a little more, I wonder if these are red weevil larvae?
