Tailend

Tonight I went the the Tailend fish bar and restaurant for dinner. I was a bit dubious about a fish and chip restaurant, but thought it sounded like a great idea.

I went for the small special fish and my date ordered Arbroath smokies. Turns out they had none of the latter left so brought a random smoked fish beginning with an F. I didn't quite catch the name.

The fish was nice, as was the 'award winning' better. But that's all, it was nice. The chips were good and crunchy, but I've got to admit, I missed the chip shop grease!

The company was excellent though, so I ended up having a lovely evening. That's the main thing.
