Enlighten Edinburgh

No I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth. Just been incredibly quiet on the blip and photo front of late. Poor show I know.
I seemed to have spent an inordinate amount of time (and money) in outdoor type shops trying to get a new jacket and some other things for the upcoming ski hol. Really looking forward to it though.

Popped into town. According to the blurb, "enLIGHTen is an exciting new event for Edinburgh that will fuse words and cutting edge technology to light up the night sky during March. Every evening from 6pm until Midnight, the dark streets will be lit up with massive dynamic projections on various city centre buildings."
Not exactly sure what this big sphere thing is(!) but it has been plonked in Charlotte Square.
