Desperation march!

My attempt to keep up with March Challenge is shocking! Shame really as I had some good ideas for today's topic - the alphabet!

I was at our company International Women Day event this afternoon and was lucky to hear some amazing speakers. One in particular was a lady called Heather Hanbury who has introduced Failure Week at her school! The concept is so great it is scary that we need this in today's world. The idea is to teach girls to take risks even if they may fail due to the learning opportunities you can take from that experience. I think it is true people - especially women in business, often take the route they know they can succeed at first time. I think my take away from that is to try to do things I might not be good at more often in the future & to be slightly less risk averse.

The whole day was very inspiring - shame the blip of my new kindle touch (tenuous link to the march challenge topic!) isn't so inspired!
