the proper usage of things

The wee wooden train track was consigned to the under-sofa-seat storage-space shortly after it was purchased well over a year ago but was retrieved today now that the boy has long been able to demonstrate an awareness that toy-things-with-wheels are designed to move in a similar manner to real-things-with-wheels. With the track in the (presumably recommended, from the bits available) figure-8 arrangement he tended to terminally disrupt some of it with his knees whilst shuffling along pushing one of the carriages along another bit, so it's been reconfigured so that the bridge doesn't cross anything.
