The Aurora Borealis!

Well... No. Actually not the Aurora. If it was there it was above the clouds. Lots and lots of clouds.

After work today we (Euan, Alex, Greg, Erin and I) headed out into the countryside on a mission to find some darkness and hopefully some solar flare based atmospheric activity. No such luck.

Walked up a road and found some red chevrons. Walking back there was a heart stopping moment where one of the dogs we had with us tried to make friends with a passing car. Fortunately the driver spotted him and slowed down sufficiently, but I thought there was going to be Charlie mince.
